So sue me. 6 weeks ago I posted. I'm disappointed in myself to be honest. And it's not like I haven't tried. I started this post a long time ago, but my laziness about posting always gets to me and I always end up leaving it off for later. Which, I should know by now, I won't get to, because I am a lazy ass. But yes. I finally decided to post something because I have a lot to say/show you, and very little time to do so.

Okay so now that I'm done with the past, it's time to update you on the present and future.

I'll start off with the most troubling issue. In late April, my mother was diagnosed with Stage IIA Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma. In simple terms, she got diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer. Her production of HER2 proteins is causing her cancer to grow because her cancer is that type that feeds off those proteins. Since then, we've received the official prognosis that it is curable, and mom has gotten her various appointments and stuff together. We have received amazing emotional support from friends and family to the point where my mom's sister will be coming maybe as soon as next week and my uncle and grandmother could potentially be coming in the summer. She had her first round of chemotherapy Friday the 22nd and it went okay. She was fine at first but these days shes in bed and doesn't want to interact much with people. But I still go in there when I can and talk with her because the doctor said total isolation can lead to depression. I'm hoping she gets better. Chemotherapy is every 3 weeks until the surgery occurs and then we'll see what happens from there.

Secondly, my family's financial situation is very much so in the crapper. My dad worked for 4. Now he works for 7. And soon he might have to work for 9, potentially 11. A taxicab driver doesn't make much to begin with. Adding more people to the equation isn't helping. Not to mention, with me going to college, we need a LOT more money than the small amount we have now. I'm probably getting a job this summer to a) get experience and b) lessen the load on my dad when it comes to my monetary expenses at college. Speaking of people in the house, yes my uncle and 2 cousins are still here. My cousin got fired from her job due to an error of giving back five $2 bills instead of ten singles. This means, the little revenue they were bringing in is gone. Instead, my cousin has stepped up as housekeeper and does almost all the tasks my mother did since she stays in bed. The other two... I honestly don't know. The other cousin will be starting school in the fall. In the meantime, she's been instructed to learn as much English as she can (how are u supposed to do that?) I don't know. But I'm not one to argue. My uncle is the same lazy butt he ever was, trying to flatter me with compliments and kissing ass. It's actually quite sad. I'm glad my aunt is coming. She's bringing my little cousin whom I've never met because she was born after my last visit to London. And I know she'll be a good emotional support for my mother and keep the house in check from my uncle. =)

Moving on to things I have done over the past month. The most important I think is graduating college. As of May 2nd, 2009, I graduated Miami Dade College with Distinct Honors. Meaning, I got an extra tassel for Honors and the gold cord for Distinction. First, however, my grades for the last semester:

Yep. Straight A's. My final GPA ended up being a 3.96 because of that stupid C I got in Anatomy I Lab. All A's one C. Yeah does it really sound like my fault? In any event, graduation was quite fun. Moises picked me up in the morning and we drove to pick up Merissa and Melissa and then drove to Bank United Center on the University of Miami campus. It was really, really nice. Of course, they butchered my name even when I had the phonetic spelling on there but oh well. My parents were extremely proud that I graduated college before high school and that I was graduating with top honors. Then I think the next most important event had to be prom. The theme we came up with was Sierra Leone: Diamonds are Forever, shortened to Diamonds are Forever because the complimentary champagne glass couldn't handle all that text. I took two dates, my wifey Breni and my girl Ivonne. I have to admit, prom was such a beautiful event and I did not hesitate to get loose. Sandwiches, grinding, salsa dancing - it was all there. I had SUCH an amazing time. And I took home plenty of mementos too =) Here are a few prom pictures too, I might put up more later but right now I think these will suffice:

Yes the last picture if a giant sandwich XD. We got down. Anyways of course prom was fun. But it was after-prom that was most fun. 7 Seniors and 1 Junior rented out a hotel room and had an amazing time. No there was no booze, no drugs, nothing of that sort. I think most people wouldn't be interested in what we did. We sat around a while and took pictures on the balcony. Then we went back to the room and found ridiculous ghost stories and read them in the pitch black. One about a Kangaroo and one about a black lady who swears she saw a rocking chair move but refuses further commentary on it (lmfao). Then we played taboo. Then we danced to songs the DJ neglected at prom. Then we went to see the sunrise. Then we had breakfast. Then we went to the beach. Then we went to the pool. Then we went to get Chinese food. Then we went home and slept for like 2 days. I guess on paper it does sound lame, but if you were there experiencing everything it was really really fun. I think that after-prom was more amazing than prom itself. Shoutout goes to my roomates:

On June 4th, I will officially be done with 12 years of school. Yes it will be a celebratory event and I will probably put pictures on here of it. But I still have 2 weeks to go before that happens. I don't want to countdown because it means saying goodbye to certain good friends, but at the same time, I want to get out of here.

Secondly, my life at university of Florida has almost been completely planned. We filed for a meal plan, my housing contract has been accepted, and my education is almost entirely being paid for. Let's see what happens about transportation and the other things.

So I have finally caught everyone up with everything. I think I'll post more in the summer when I have nothing to do, but at the same time there is going to be nothing for me to talk about except the TV shows I watched or the chores I did over the day. Haha. Right now though graduating is on my mind and every day that passes, its inching closer.

I hope that I can still maintain contact with the people in high school, and that I can also keep up with you LJ buddies who like reading these enormously long posts. I hope everyone is doing well, and I promise during the summer I will return to stalking your profiles and forcing communication via AIM or the like =) For now, I hope you are all doing well and keeping safe. Okay so sue me. I'm late on this post. But it's spring break. I have a reason to be lazy.

So I hafta admit this is like the BEST spring break of my life. It's also been called Best friend whore week. Let's go over what I've done the past week

MONDAY
As usual, my screwed up sleep schedule made me sleep really late the night before (like 1-ish) and I woke up at 5. The bus came around 6:03 (way too early >.<). Mom reminded me to come home ASAP as I had to babysit my brother while she went to the doctor's. Got to school around 6:40 and during the 1 hour break before class started, I studied for Tiina's vocab test. At 8, I went to Anatomy and as expected got Kenny's sarcastic "We missed u in class" comment. -Sigh- typical Kenny lol. Endocrine system is the most confusing system of life I was lost the entire time. After class, I rushed to Tiina's with Tiffany and Moises waiting outside. Short chit chat before they told me that Tiina's already inside. Frick. Rushed in and took the vocab test. I got stuck on 4 words. And Guess how many I got wrong? She said I'd probably get +2 on the quiz so not to worry about it. I went to the cafeteria afterward for a round or two of cards and then Breni took me home to babysit. Taking care of my brother these days is easy, he doesn't bother me at all. Dealt with phone calls asking for mom and made lunch. Mom came back around 2. Then I went to the gym. Worked out a little, got some stress off. Twas fun. Got back home, showered, and just chilled the rest of the day.


TUESDAY
Got up, went to school. Fell asleep in the morning... so embarrassing. Chemistry we finished off Chapter 9 and then started chapter 10 which he said we'd be done with next class. In the last 5 minutes of class, Harlee called and I told her I'd call her back, After class, I called Harlee and she said she'd be late picking me up. So I went to the cafeteria and played cards for 1/2 an hour. Then the juniors all left for the beach. So I went to the computer courtyard. Downstairs all full. Upstairs I found an empty place. Went on the comp for a bit, and then eventually Harlee called again. I left assuming she was here, but she said she'd be later. So I went back inside the courtyard and my seat had been taken. Ugh. Great. I went to the piano rooms to find they were all full. I waited outside for a bit while this guy played guitars. Eventually one of the rooms opened up and I practiced playing a song without sheet music. I got bored in the end and played Sudoku on my phone until Harlee rang again and said she was on her way. We had to guide each other to where we were but eventually we got to each other. Car chit chat we caught up on our way to Main Street. Once there, we got tickets to the 2:40 showing of Fast & Furious. It was around 2:33 so our timing was perfect. The movie was amazing, and I love going to the movies with Harlee since we both made like funny commentary during the movie. After the movie, it was 4:30, and I'd told mom I'd be back around 5 so she drove me back. More general chitchat, talks about prom, and the hug goodbye and a promise to hang out again before she goes to UCF and me to UF. Back home, mom asked if I had fun and then I went to the gym. After gym was a shower, and then dinner, and then I spent the rest of the day doing nothing lol.


WEDNESDAY
Okay so I thought Wednesday was going to suck. Cindy IMed me on AIM the night before saying she had stuff to do for her prom dress and might not be able to make it. So I was like...crap. And I had lab, so I would have to stay there from 10 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon. That's 7 hours at school doing nothing >_>. I went to Anatomy and struggled through it. Officially hate the Endocrine system. Note to self, never become an endocrinologist. Then to Tiina's to do an extra credit assignment writing 15 sentences. Ugh. Tiina >_> After Tiina's was another visit to the cafeteria and 15 minutes of card playing and then I was gone. To the computer courtyard where I did some homework for a friend whose paying me to do it. Around 11, Cindy called and said she's on her way. YIPPEE. She arrived and then showed me a list of her majors shes considering of doing at UF. The first one was animal services, and I had no idea what that was so she decided to take me to Animal Services. We got there and from a distance you could hear the dogs barking. The little grass that was there was covered with dog poop. We went inside and Cindy took me to the back where there were an array of dogs of all breeds. It honestly broke my heart being there. The animals there were all friendly, and all they really wanted was someone to love them and be with them. They'd run up to us excitedly when we walked up to them, and yelp and whine and bark sadly when we walked away. And it's even worse knowing that if no one takes the animal, it's going to get killed. After we left, we went to Papa Johns where Cindy works to get us some food. We then went to her casa and ate the pizza, cheesesticks and chocolate strudels or w/e they were. Stayed there till around 3:30, ate, and watched "To Be Fat Like Me" on Lifetime and talked about stuff going on in our lives. She had to drop me off since she had work at 5 and needed to get ready. I went back to the now empty computer courtyard to do more homework and to study for my Anatomy Lab Quiz. At 5:40 I went to the Anatomy Lab, and I know I passed that quiz with 100% cuz it was on reproductive organs and we've been doing that stuff since like 5th grade. Lab we talked about the endocrine system and it made more sense than in lecture for some reason since it was separated into categories unlike the lecture class. Lab ended early since we're done for the year, and she sent us off home. I got home early, and decided to go to the gym. After I got home, I showered quickly and watched TV for a few hours and then it was time to knock out.

THURSDAY
Got up. Fell asleep at school. Went to chemistry and went over the types of molecular bonding and what they meant. We almost finished the chapter, but he fell short. Then I went tot he cafeteria and played cards till 11 since all the juniors were waiting for the bus today. At 11, we walked to building 5 since they were going to go home. Michelle called me and said she's ready to take me. Michi and I had a conversation about what's up in our lives and where we're going and what we're doing and whatnot. She dropped me off at Taylor's apartment and then me and Taylor got down to having fun. First we talked and caught up a bit, and then we headed over to McDonalds for lunch which was fun. Then we went to the Food Spot for snacks. Then the pool to chill. Then back to her room to listen to music and talk and I had to do part of my chem lab there and ended up doing most of it while talking to her. Mary Grace (Tay's mom) was sick so she swung by every now and then and we talked about Taylor and school and when I'm going to be a doctor. I love her. Shes soo adorable lolol. At around 4:30 Moises called and said to come down, so I said my good-bye's and hugs and left to go to lab. Moises took me to Pollo Tropical and we ordered a quarter chicken combo and then drove to MDC with general chitchat and making fun of whatnot on the way. We went into a room and crammed black beans and rice, chicken, and bread down our throats while random students kept swinging by for class. Lmao. We rushed to lab and surprisingly, made it early. The professor told us to go straight to the lab, and we did the Lab really fast and got stuck only on the polarity portion. Eventually though, it worked out and we ended up leaving lab really early. Too many jokes as Moi and I drove back. Least of which, our fat asses crammed Famous Amos and these shortbread cookies my mom gave me as he drove me home. I'm seriously surprised we didn't crash. Got home, TV, and then I slept in.


FRIDAY
Woke up at 9 to realize...nobody's up. Back to sleep. Woke up at 12 and then after chores headed to the gym. Worked twice as hard since I didn't go the day before. A shower and slice of cheesecake later, I started my history homework. Avoiding any reason to do my English homework, I cleaned out my bookbag. There was so much garbage in it. With everything filed and whatnot, my binder wouldnt close. It kept making this odd popping noise which kinda scared me. I emptied out about 80% of my chem notes, and the popping stopped. There were a LOT of chem notes I must admit. Then I had dinner and then spent some time talking with mom and then just chilled. I'll do the English homework tomorrow. Woo. I finally did the Sally Mae Scholarship too. Yippee. So I'm finally caught up with everything. It's late (2 AM) and im listening to music when I should be sleeping since I have to wake up at 10 tomorrow. Goodnight Guys. I'll update...eventually lol =D

Picking up from the last post (see post below this) after breakfast, the weather didn't look too favorable, so I decided I might as well go to the gym now. The sun was playing peek-a-boo as I was riding my bike to the gym. I'm not gonna lie I was sore today. When I woke up its like uhh where are my legs? Warming them up with biking was actually a good way to help get the juices flowing again. I brought 2 water bottles and a Nutrigrain bar (though i think they're disgusting) as snacks because I wasn't going to put up with another dizzy spell.

When I got to the gym, I headed straight for the treadmill. I did a good 45 minutes of running. Burned of a good 250 calories at that =D. I need to increase my speed though. I started at 3.5 for 15 minutes, 4.0 for 15 minutes, and finished with 4.5 for 15 minutes. The faster I run, the more calories I burn. And honestly, my legs didn't begin to feel the burn until I put it on 4.5 so I think I'm going to start at 4.0 and then run at 4.5 so I can get a good workout in. After was more lunges and squats. I was going to scream after my 30th lunge (did 3 sets of 10 again); my calves were burning. I ended up sprawled on the gym floor breathing heavily for a few minutes and then began doing crunches. The manager wasn't around so this nice lady helped me out. We alternated turns doing crunches; she'd do a set of 15 with me holding her feet down and I'd do a set of 15. Overall I got 60 crunches in today. I honestly don't know how I made it back home. By the time I got back the two water bottles and the Nutrigrain bar were either eaten or empty. Went to plop down on bed for 20 minutes, then went to shower.

Post shower, I had to finish looking up terms for Tiina. We have a vocabulary quiz tomorrow and it's worth +1 if you pass, +2 if you get them all right, and -1 if you do bad. Yeesh. Thank's tiina. And I was thinking of skipping school tomorrow. The words are honestly not that bad, but when there's 72 of them, your mind does tend to wander. I have to back to Anatomy tomorrow. I missed 2 consecutive classes. Soooo not my fault. I have lab on wednesday nights and he said not to show up if you aren't dressed nice. Uh. No kenny. Not happening. So I didn't go. And then Phil brought poker for Friday and I can't say no to Poker. So I ended up skipping. Lol. So I'm going to get yelled at probably.

Well I was supposed to post on Friday, but you know stuff comes up....specifically me being a lazy butt.

I ended up coming on Friday and sleeping until maybe 6:30. I had dinner about 15 minute later, and then I began my exercise regiment. Yes, I finally started it after prolonged periods of "I dont wanna" or my favorite "I'll do it later" =P It wasn't bad. I just biked around my backyard from 7 to around 7:45. There's not that much space for me to do much in the backyard except a few twists and turns so I decided that tomorrow I'd go to an actual gym. I called a friend for their extra gym pass and they said to come pick it up tomorrow. After exercising, Friday is often game night for me, Moises, Merissa, Ivonne and sometimes a random bored straggler. So I had a relaxing time playing word racer and Literari. Then Deryck IMed, always fun talking to him. After he left, I stayed up till 3 waiting up for someone, but nobody showed up so I went to sleep.

Saturday I woke up at around 10:30. My legs were a little sore cuz they weren't used to the biking but I had to prepare myself for what's to come. Roamed the house watching the same cartoons my brother did. Around 12 began doing house chores and whatnot. Around 3, I decided it was time to go to the gym. I had to bike since my dad was at work, which actually worked out since that would count as my "warm up" period. Florida is so effin hot guys. The humidity and temperature outside got me sweaty in less than 5 minutes. I was glad I brought two water bottles otherwise I think I might have dehydrated. After going to my friends house for the pass, I went to the gym which was literally a 10 minute walk/ 4 minute bike ride from where he lived. The gym was really exactly what I wanted. Not too many people, but not you alone. This guy was nice enough to be my trainer for the day and asked me my problem areas. I told him that a cardiologist recommended I increase my lung capacity and that I wanted to lose some weight around the stomach. He worked out a plan for me that I could follow even if I didn't go back to the gym. The pass is good for 1 week, and I intend to use it to the max, but the gym wants $20 a month and my dad's not too fond of that idea. And honestly all the exercises I did at the gym, I could do at home so it works out fine. I ran the treadmill for 30 minutes at 4.0 speed with 1.5 incline. The treadmill at home (which no one uses) has the same features so I'll probably end up doing that after this week. He held down my feet while I did crunches, and maybe I'll get my brother to do that. Honestly, doing crunches with no one holding your feet is a bitch. Especially with my long legs, they just dont want to stay down. They go up a little with every crunch and that makes me more exhausted. I did about 3 sets of 20 alternating from crunches to lunges to squats and then back to crunches. The lunges and squats I did in 3 sets of 10. I absolutely hate squatting. The guy asked me to weight lift with him, and since he was super super nice I decided to. While he benched like god knows how much, I did weights. I'm not into the whole muscular arms bit and I really didn't want sore arms in the morning, but I couldn't say no since he helped me so much. After 15 minutes tho, I was really really tired and I had to bike ride back home so I thanked the guy for everything. He shook my hand and hoped to see me back sometimes since he owned the gym. Lmao. I told him I'd be back tomorrow, weather permitting. I got back on the bike and rode home.

So as you can imagine, I got home EXHAUSTED. And I smelled. Horrible. I mean really horrible. So I walked around outside for about 5 minutes to cool down and then I hopped into the shower. That felt really good. Now, while I'm in the shower, I realize my own stupidity - I haven't eaten a single thing all day and I just went for hardcore exercising. -_- So of course, after I was done, I had bouts of dizzy spells. My body's not used to actually doing something constructive with the food it eats. I told Mom about the food, and lucky for me dad came home so food was on it's way. Yippee. By this time it was around 6:30 ish. I got back to a phone call from Cindy wanting to hang out. I told her tuesday, but shes going to g-ville. Then I told her Wednesday and she said that works great. Yippee, outing with the Cindz. We got around to talking about our lives a little and I realized something. That I'm tired of being put second and that I just don't care anymore. Whatever happens happens with that situation and I refuse to put in as much effort as I have to get close to nothing in return. Empty words and promises dont mean anything except reducing your credibility. Oh well.

I spent the rest of the night catching up on manga and listening to music. As my iTunes was on shuffle I rediscovered a B-side song by the Killers called Under the Gun. I absolutely LOVE the lyrics:

Ahh Brandon Flowers is a genius. I listened to music and watched youtube videos and idk what else up until 1 and then I went to bed.

I woke up today around 10:00 because my brother absolutely refused to let me go to sleep. The XBOX in my room is sometimes a detriment such as it was here. I was rather annoyed that he kept opening and shutting the door and even more annoyed that he woke me up. But here I am, up and about, writing this lengthy LJ post and enjoying breakfast. I'll do a seperate post for what I did today. But for now, ciao.

I'd like to formally apologize to everyone who might have been worried about me not posting day to day anymore. Or...for that matter....months o_o So I'll do my best to post as often as I can but don't hate me if I disappear for weeks at a time.

So what have I been up to? God knows where to begin.

First and foremost, I'd like to talk about major life changes going on right now for me. Of the 8 colleges I applied to, 6 have said yes, 1 I refuse to waste money on sending SAT scores, and one rejected me because 1) I didn't do SAT subject tests and 2) My counselor missed deadline and sent in my letter on time. One or the other or maybe a combination of both. Anyhow, of the 6 I was accepted to, I have had my eye on University of Florida. And you'll be happy to here that I have officially decided to attend there. =) Of the approximate 17,000 it costs to attend, they are subsidizing me with 15,000 and then that doesnt include my Florida State Scholarship (Bright Futures) so my tuition and expenses are covered! I'm really looking forward to it.

Secondly, events coming up in my future. In 1 month time I will be graduating from Miami Dade College. Just one more month. I have the graduation e-mail sent to me and now I'm almost at the finish line of my 2 year journey of sacrifice, commitment, and determination. God I cannot wait. Prom is May 15th. Pre-prom is at Anabelle's house. Prom will be at this beautiful place by the beach. And after prom will more than likely be a bonfire at the beach. It's really gonna be a night to remember. And finally, I'm graduating high school. 2 months to go. But these last 9 weeks of school are gonna be ones I hope pass by slow. As much as I want school to end, I'm seriously going to miss the people I got so attached to over these past 2 years. I honestly can't have asked for a better or class or better friends. I better not get sappy the last day of school lol.

In other events, my relatives are beginning to irritate my in ways i didnt think possible. I'm not interested in having mindless conversations with you, therefore please stop trying to engage me in conversation. Stop complaining about what your asked to do. It seriously fucking pisses me off that they're doing NOTHING to supplement the family's income. My cousin has began working with the doctor I used to once work for. 2 days a week. And all the money they earn (which is not much to be frank) will be hoarded tot hemselves and they expect us to keep paying for their shit. Suck my balls. I don't care if its family, but I, unlike my dad, know where to draw the line between family and moochers. I'm not going to encourage their behavior like he does. Mom and I shoot them down maybe 6 to 7 times a day. I'm sorry your family caught the histrionic personality disorder, but if you want attention, go to Dad. Mom and I don't really give a crap and you can't speak English so Farid won't talk to you. My apologies if you just wasted time reading this stupid whatnot. XD

In much more serious news, my family's health problems have gone up the roof. Dad's all happy that his family is here, but the stress of worrying about the houses financial situation is beginning to cause his body to react in a negative way. More seriously, I'm worried about my mother. She did a mammary exam which found major and minor calcification in her breast which may be a sign that she has breast cancer. She's going for a biopsy on Monday and we'll find out soon enough whether or not it is. I'm PRAYING to god it isn't. Mom does so much for this family and I can't bear to see her in so much pain. It fucking sucks when I know I can't do anything for her except be there for her, cuz Dad's too self absorbed in his own fucking family to notice just how much pain Mom's in.

On the flip side, Mom and I have bonded god knows how close lately. I'm her emotional support. Especially against the tirade of people she has to put up with (relatives). I love my mom and admire her strength. Even though shes sick and all, she still gets up and cooks food and does house chores. Their fucking lazy asses sleep all day and come out only for meals or to watch TV. Suck a dick. Sorry, I know I sound really selfish, but honestly if you were in my shoes you would be doing so much more than just saying it on a blog or a LJ post or to your mother. You'd be saying it to the people's faces. So mom and I drew the line with dad the other day. They're gonna hafta cook their own food now since Mom doesn't have the strength to cook for 8 anymore. She's gonna take care of her family and her family alone. Not other people's family especially when they're fully capable of doing these things. Mom and I have had a ton of bonding time where we've let everything pretty much out in the open. I constantly find myself in her room spending time with her talking about people we know and things we've done. She's been encouraging me to pursue my dreams at UF but at the same time expressing just how much shes gonna miss me. I have a lot to teach her before I leave and whatnot.

In terms of my social life, it's pretty cool. I get out more than I used to. Dad doesn't say anything anymore because hes too busy with his family to care what I'm doing, and mom almost always says yes since she wants me to make the most of my time. So I've been out with friends a few times and about a week or so back I went to a picnic with Ana, Marko, Rosy, Ivonne, Merissa, and Moises. It was really nice, even though the rain sort of messed up our initial plans. I have my eye on someone, but that person is giving me beyond mixed signals so I don't know what to do anymore and decided I'll just let life take me wherever it wants to take me and not care or rather put all my eggs in one basket =) Haha.

Ok so I think it's safe to say my policy of posting one post everyday like a diary has utterly failed. With the piling up of my workload and then no time for myself, I've fallen behind.

So much has happened over the past...well 2 months(O_O) so I guess I'll start at school.

My GPA for high school has officially been locked. Sealed. Terminated. I can straight out get D's and it wont fluctuate in the least.
Official Ranking: Magna Cum Laude (91%) 5th seat.
Unweighted GPA: 3.683
Weighted GPA: 6.283
Yep i'm graduating with top honors. I'm really proud of myself being top 5, especially in the competitiveness of SAS academics. Merissa got 4th, Moises 3rd, Rebecca 2nd, and Marby got 1st. And I know of many other academically strong seniors, so for me to rank that high, I'm proud of myself.

School has become one giant drab. I love going to college classes and I hate going to high school ones. The thing is, high school classes are classes I don't want to take. I'm slipping in English. Slipped in math. and hell if I care about history. On the flipside here are my college grades:
88.33% Anatomy II (very pissed)
90.00% Chemistry I
100% English II
95.30% Anatomy II Lab
96.33% Chemistry I Lab

Yeah I am INCHES from straight A's. I did an anatomy lab midterm on wednesday and I have chem lab midterm thursday so we'll see how that goes.

Apart from school life I'm proud to say my social life is undergoing drastic changes. I have gone out many times now on thursdays to random locations, and I have gone out maybe 2 fridays ago to my friend Maria's house for an unforgettable day of randomness and brunch.

I have had a mass of visitors in my house. My dad's best friend came about 2 weeks ago to visit and left last thursday. It was weird having him around. Dunno. I've also had my uncle, aunt, and 2 cousins permanently move in. I absolutely hate it. I will vent more about it some other day and the injustice mom and I are suffering.

Wedding Day.

Oh the joy of staying afterschool wednesdays.

Kenny lectured about the heart. I FINALLY learned the blood flow from inferior and superior vena cava's to the ascending aorta. Kenny did an amazing job at it. I have the STRONGEST feeling we have a quiz on friday. He kept hinting at it. I'm just waiting for it to happen now.

Tiina made us write yet another childish essay. I'm getting tired of that lady and her ridiculously simple prompts. "Write about your favorite page from the art book" What am I? Fucking 9? Give me some decent topics. I ended up writing about Picasso's The Portrait of Gertrude Stein . I appreciate his work in the piece. He captured this insane intensity in her expression and pose and his use of colors was truly captivating. Plus she had clothes on. I was sick of seeing breasts everywhere. Jeez.

Mrs. Larsen decided that instead of a quiz or an essay or anything that requires us to be quiet (she had 4 days of it and was absolutely sick of silence), we would have an open discussion about Huck Finn. And we did. And we got pretty far into the novel too. I think one more discussion and we're done with the book.

Pino decided to continue on rambling with his latest lecture. This one involved industrialization post civil-war and reconstruction. I was KNOCKING OUT. I had all the characteristics of sleep mode in me. Closing my eyes and jerking back into reality. Headrolling awake. The glazed look in my eye. Oh my god I wanted to sleep so bad. And I did a few times. But he woke me up by calling me out. Haha. Hate him. >_>

So afterschool I went to the library, sat down, and buckled down to some sweet Anatomy Lab homework. I was well prepped for the assignment and then decided to go to the computer courtyard and pine away my time until class doing nothing but staying on the computer. Haha.

Class was fun. Ann and I were discussing WBC in preparation for a would be quiz. However, it didnt happen as we immersed ourselves into the blood lab. Which was the same lab I did about 2 years ago in anatomy and physiology 10th grade. Shows u how sophisticated MDC is. She didnt even collect our work. It was more to show her "we knew" what we were doing. And we did. She keeps getting super impressed by me and i'm in the class like "...what?" Jorge and Natalia came in late, so we had to catch them up on what we were doing and eventually got it done. Then she dismissed us 20 minutes early because she had a cold.

Anyways got home and ate some food, watched "13:Fear is Real" and "Idol" and now I'm headed off to bed. Goodnight guys

Two's Day

Stoichiometry is my new Biffle. I friggin love chemistry. The guy gave us a long list of homework assignments but I was honestly whatever about it. I LOVE THE CLASS.

I spent the break attempting to do it and ended up conversing with Bianka. Haha.

Calculus was a review of going over the midterm. She gave us all a 20 point curve, which was said to help us, which I dont believe worked. Either way, with or without the curve I had a C on the calculus midterm. Which is...okay. A few B's. ONE A from a guy with no life. Ugh I hate when stereotypes are confirmed. I realized my mistakes and learned from them. Only now we have to wait officially for grades.

Research passed. I don't really remember what happened. But I know it passed haha.

What can I say about a day like this? PAINFUL.

I loved anatomy as usual. Kenny's warning about how ANYDAY after today we could have a quiz meant that there was one coming up shortly. I had a feeling since he emailed us the score sheets.

Tina and her 2 eye's are annoying. She wasted the classes time discussing Art in it's various forms. No one cares Tiina. Seriously. Then she made the class do an outline on the novel we chose. I so BSed it. I didn;t care.

About an hour from the exam, the calculus students from SAS all had their books open to chapters 1-4. Fervently, they flipped through the multiple pages in a desperate attempt to be able to remember key, necessary facts vital for passing said exam. They all failed.

The test was ANAL BUTTRAPE. First and foremost, the testing area SUCKED. It was the same place we had tiger reunion last year. But back then, the air conditioning was working. Not this time. It was TORTURE. Then, the guys outside were doing construction so drilling and loud spanish dominated half the test. This was often followed with a loud farting noise, which came from god knows where. The test in itself was difficult. The essay...first question was =D, the second question was....FAIL. EPIC. The multiple choice was buttrape too, EVEN WITH THE CALCULATOR. Argh. Bad test.

We all escaped that place yelling and screaming for fresh air and the end of midterms. Last batch I'll ever take for highschool =D. It's over!

Weally sleepy. So I'll hit the hay. Oh yeah the MAD Tv music video will be replaced today by this HILARIOUS american idol footage:

And this weekend just flew by. Kept studying for calculus and yeah Idk lol I have NO clue where my weekend went. I did manage to catch up on sleep and I don't think I'll fall out of pattern this week =]

So we had dinner guests tonight so of course I was social and cordial. My rewards for my effort was my NEW GLASSES. =D. They're like Tiffany's glasses. But manly-er. And blue. So I need time to get adjusted into them. I'm wearing them as we speak.

I think I shall go study more calculus and report on more interesting developments later. =D

Not much to say here.

Kenny's class we continued learning about blood. I really need my book. I feel like an inadequate student in his class without one. But I'm learning a lot. I love Kenny.

So In Tina with the 2 eyes's class we got back our writing assignments. I had 2 grammatical mistakes (combines words, added a comma where there wasn't supposed to be one) and I had a sentence fragment. Fixed those up. Then we spent the class introducing each other to everyone else. I introduced Diamix, Merissa me. It was nice.

Post class it was general chitchat and lunch. Then it was time for midterm number 2. Now that was a hard midterm. I didn't anticipate it being that difficult. But I was so time conscious on the multiple choice. And then I owned the synthesis essay but bombed the second essay. Eep. I hope I do well. Come on A worthy!

After class I got home and outright chilled. It was nice to be able to relax before I began hardcore studying for calculus. Well That's it for today I'll leave u with a new funny MadTV vid.

RRR Day.

So we had an NHS meeting today. Totally pointless. Nothing new just Schpilberg complaining and being mad at how we all failed to produce enough items for the homeless. -Sigh-

So today was the second class of Chemistry. I love chemistry. Omg I love all my classes, except ENC1102. Science is my life. He went over mixtures and solvents and solutions and AHH! I'm already excited for this class. We start thermochemistry in just 2 weeks and I cannot wait till we do.

Post class was an intense library study session with Rebbecca and Giselle. We had our nose to the books reading and studying and planning essays. I think talking with Rebs helped me out a LOT since I got a whole lot of useful information for my essay. barely ate. Study study study till the last minute and then - Midterm 1.

Pino's midterm went smoothly enough. I owned the first essay, but didn't have enough time for the second essay so it sounded super childish. It worked out in the end since he said to put a star next to the one we wanted graded and of course I chose the first one. The multiple choice was a little more challenging than expected but overall a C at the very least =D

Then of course I had to stay for chem lab. First we hung out in Pino's room since it joins with the SAS office. Then Moises, Breni, and myself decided to head to Taco Bell for food. We had general chit chatting, sang music, then stopped at KFC for some of my chicken and made fun of how ghetto the neighborhood was. LOL

Back at school, chem lab was interesting. As luck would have it, I got split from the group - Noemi, Tahina, Breni, and Moises - and into a seperate group. Eric, Melanie, and Rosalie are my lab team. Eric is overbearing and controlling and, to be frank, smells funny. Melanie seems out of it. And Rosalie's an outright bitch. And I just dont care lmao. Somehow we're a good group. I prefer my SAS peeps but eh, no option. The guy himself sounds like an asshole, but I won't know for sure till I see how he grades.

Breni and I drove home to some general chit chat and making fun of random things. Got home and had a chance to relax and destress. I'm tired now so I'll leave you guys with another funny vid. Enjoy and g'nite!

Hey guys whats poppin?

Lately that get-back-to-school mode is draining me. My sleep pattern is messed up.
I've been narcoleptic. This morning I fell asleep on the bus and didn't wake up until we hit a speed bump... and that indicated we were already at school! o_o Then I fell asleep in homeroom and slobbered all over myself...even more embarrassing.

I started my first day of MWF classes.
At 8, I had Doctor Kenny for Anatomy II. I was surprised to hear that he remembered me from way back in Spring Term of last year. I was also surprised to hear that he had been promoted to lab coordinator and assistant head of the Biology department. He's an amazing professor so I was glad to hear he got promoted. He introduced himself and he learned the names of the students. He gave us a brief intro to Anatomy II and what we would be covering with the lecture guide and exam schedule. Same thing application as anatomy 1 just a different subject. Me likes ^_^. Kenny held me a little back to chat with me about how I waited a year to take his class again and how he's glad to have me back. Haha. However it delayed me for my 9 o clock class.

So I walked into Tiina with the 2 eyes class and let me be honest. I'm expecting some ghetto looking woman with an attitude problem. POLAR. OPPOSITE. There was an AWKWARD white woman with glasses writing on the bored. Her voice was slightly accented. She wore a button up shirt, with pearls, and stockings that looked like they've been washed too many times. She doesn't move her jaw when she speaks, and her voice is tiny and slightly accented. And this CRAZY LADY made us write a 5 paragraph essay day one on "our favorite relative." I mean such a childish topic... I forsee many problems with this class.

Anyways, Larsen for two hours was a bit of a blur. I remember we went over the Mississippi river essay and reviewed multiple choice questions for the midterm this friday but apart from that nothing comes to mind.

Pino was a waste of time where he tried "assisting" us with essay. FAILED.

Anyways tonight was lab night. So I had to stay afterschool. I tried calling Luis, but it was no good. So then Claire asked if I wanted to hang with her. I said of course. So me and her went to the library. I felt really bad. We were supposed to be studying, and she wanted a few moments of alone time. I just outright knocked out. Drool and all. I woke up an hour later and shes like LOL hey. EMBARASSING. She left around 5-ish and I decided to go eat before heading to class. So I sat outside for 20-25 minutes and looked over the lab book and then walked to class.

As expected I was the only SAS kid from the lab. Probably the only SAS kid taking anatomy 2. So I walk into class and the professor pops in all giddy and whatnot. She had a rich cuban accent and her class seems extremely simple. Doesn't sound like a demanding professor. Quite easy too. I met 3 people - Anne, George, and Natalie. No one had a book except me so now we're all lab buddies =D Works for me.

I had to drive on the way back home. It was raining. Dad again started yelling. Nearly crashed cuz of him. But we made it back home eventually and I studied my butt off for Pino all night until now. Good night guys and enjoy the video

It's official - I caught what mom had. I knew it was a matter of time. Catering to her every need came back and bit me in the bottom. But oh well, I love mumsy and don't mind.

Anyways... my day was horrible. Sleepy doesn't even begin to cover my deprived state.
We didn't get textbooks like we planned to, and instead had an hour and 20 minute classes. MOTHER CHUCKER.

Math...I think I'm going to die. Lol. I forgot everything. She was like.... You guys suck. lol.

English was a sub. It was merely socializing and cheating on the assignment by sharing answers. Group work was fun since we just talked about winter break and made fun of people.

Lunch was eventful. Bianka and Ivonne and myself caught up while Tiffany weaved in and out of groups. Bianka was caught up on events that transpired over break and then we just had general chitchat.

Research I spent watching funny videos on youtube. Lol.

Pino's class...he passed out identifications for our midterm on thursday and yeah... Idk we split them and have to do them.

I'm tired guys I'd write more but I'm so effing tired. I'm gonan go crash and burn. Gnite.

Last day of winter break....

I really don't want to start school again... the stress and all that what not. I was fine doing this on a day to day basis. -sigh-

Ahh such a relief that I can go to school and not worry about house chores and mom not feeling well.

I spent my day finishing my outline, and ended up half assing it. I really didn't feel like doing it but I did it.

So yesterday and in the wee morning hours of today, Cindy and I had a 5 hour phone conversation. In this we detailed the following:

- Birds LMFAO
- Our migraines
- How we're moving in together if we both get accepted to UF
- Familial issues
And of course:
- Random shit

I went to sleep at 4:30 in the morning after a bunch of laughter, tears, serious topics, funny topics, and my mind at rest. That's what I love about my best friends. It's ALWAYS like this. I can be myself and know they won't overjudge me.

I read a shoujo manga. I love how this one had no excessive chapters. Sometimes I think me reading shoujo is just an excuse to makeup for my pitiful love life. But they are so damn cute lol. I blame Merissa for introducing me to them, and myself for getting addicted.

So other than Cindy, I talked to Catherine today. And yes it's official, I'm taking her to my prom as my date. I don't think there's anyone else who comes close to that level of comfort that she does. We had a talk about why we broke up and other than distance, we were utterly dumbfounded as to everything else. Sometimes I do regret breaking up with her, but we grew apart. Yet she's always being a safety net for me and when I need to talk and Taylor's not around I know I can go to her. Hmm...


Anyways, mom's still not well. It's been a week. She's been to the doctor and all. I'm PRAYING she gets better before school starts. I can't juggle both house and school. No way.

And after a long period break, Dad took me driving again. I did phenomenal if I do say so myself. Avoided a crash twice (both times not my fault) and the old man didn't yell at me cept when I almost smashed into this parked car.. it came outta nowhere! Lol, no but seriously, the person parked really too far from the curb and I nearly crashed. The only thing I don't like about driving is that I have absolutely no idea where we're going. Dad makes his mind up almost last minute. And it's like .... wth. But Oh well. Yay!


Anyways, that's all for tonight. I'll go work on my outline. And btw I hope you guys are okay... I haven't seen Anna on MSN in years and Deryck hasn't been on AIM either ={ What's up with that guys?!
